25 October 2017 / Categories: Events Duqm Refinery: UK Export Finance Exporter Fair Register now for the supply chain event on 9th November in Birmingham This is a strong opportunity to enter the supply chain for this $7 billion project. A significant amount and range of UK supplies will be needed as a condition of the UK government’s export finance support for the project. Supplies required are listed below. Make new connections with procurement officials from the three lead contractors, officials from Kuwait Petroleum and Oman Oil, and other companies in the supply chains. Managed entry into new market: UK Export Finance’s support will mean the overall credit risk for the project will be equivalent to supplying a UK government project You would be supplying into a contractor’s supply chain, so you may not be required to export supplies to Oman (terms would need to be discussed with the contractors, who you can meet at the event) UK government officials posted in Oman will be present to provide guidance on doing business in Oman.
