Funding is available for projects that aim to reduce the environmental impact of packaging, batteries or EEE through innovation or research in the UK.
The funding is aimed at projects that offer tangible solutions to the negative effects that packaging, batteries and electronic waste have on the environment.
The funding is for projects that tackle packaging, battery or electronic waste across the full lifecycle of the products - from production, use and collection through to their end-of-life treatment or reuse. Applications could, therefore, include innovative technologies, awareness campaigns, processes, materials, collaborations or research into improving existing behaviours or systems.
Applications will be accepted from:
- Limited companies.
- Charities.
- Academic bodies and institutions.
- Community Interest Companies.
- Social enterprises.
Applicants must prove they are an officially constituted body in the UK by providing their UK company registration number, and/or charity registration number.
Applications from a collaboration of organisations or partnerships are welcomed.
Individual grants of up to £150,000 are available for a single project.

To apply, organisations must complete an online application form and submit a project plan, a budget and a two minute video.
