Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust Opens for Final 2022 Funding Round

Funding to support BAME communities and individuals involved in the arts.

Registered and exempt charities in the UK can now apply to the fourth round of funding from the Trust, which has focused its grants on the arts throughout 2022.

This round is dedicated to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) artists and groups.

Eligible activities could support:

  • BAME performers.
  • Outreach projects within BAME communities.
  • Initiatives to increase participation with BAME communities.

Grants of £5,000 are on offer, though groups must have a minimum income and operating expenditure of £1 million to apply. There is no maximum threshold.

Charities can apply for one grant per calendar year.

The deadline to apply is 30 September 2022.

 

How To Apply

There will be four grant rounds in 2022. The application windows are as follows:

  • Round 1 has now closed.
  • Round 2 has now closed.
  • Round 3 has now closed.
  • Round 4 is open from 1 September 2022 until 30 September 2022.

Application forms are available to complete online at the Trust's website. The Trust no longer accepts applications submitted by post.

Applicants should first read the guidelines and FAQs before starting the application process.

Charities can only apply for one round per calendar year.

The Trust publishes a list of successful applicants after the trustee meetings. Those who have received funding will find their name on the Trust's website in the 'Successful Applicants' section.
