New Round of Large Grants for Church Repairs

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Funding Open to Local Authorities in England

The Local EV Infrastructure (LEVI) Fund supports local authorities in England to plan and deliver chargepoint infrastructure for residents without off-street parking.

Emergency Funding for Black and Minority-led Groups Impacted by the Cost-of-Living Crisis Across England

Black and minority community-led charities and organisations working with children and young people at risk of becoming involved in violence can apply for emergency funding to mitigate the effects of the inflation and cost of living crises.

Funding can be used flexibly to cover core and/or project costs that the cost-of-living crisis has impacted, including rent, utilities, cost of living increases in salaries, equipment, and activities. 

The deadline for applications to Round One is 8 May 2023 (midnight).

Hubbub Announces Further Community Fridge Hub Grants

The Pixel Fund Reopens for Applications

Registered charities across the United Kingdom can apply for funding for projects and activities related to the mental health and well-being of children and young adults.

The Pixel Fund is offering grants of between £2,500 and £5,000 for small to medium-sized registered UK-based charities to deliver a wide range of projects that improve the mental health and well-being of children and young people aged 26 and under.

Applications can be submitted at any time. 

Government Invites Expressions of Interest in Heat Pump Investment Competition

As a means of reducing reliance on fossil fuels to heat buildings, this £30 million competition is designed to boost manufacturing and supply of heat pumps in the UK.

The Heat Pump Investment Accelerator Competition aims to bring forward investment in the UK heat pump manufacturing supply chain, to build resilience, create new low carbon jobs and secure the economic benefits of net zero.

The EoI deadline is 28 April 2023 (15:00 BST).

Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) and Belmont Forum to Launch New Call on Climate and Cultural Heritage

The Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs), namely the JPI on Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH) and Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe (JPI Climate), and Belmont Forum have given pre-announcement details of a new call - or Collaborative Research Action (CRA) - on Climate and Cultural Heritage. It will focus on research challenges at the interface of cultural heritage and climate change.

This is a pre-announcement and the information is subject to change. Eligibility criteria and the funding available will be confirmed when the full call is launched (expected in mid-April 2023).

Launch of £160m Floating Offshore Wind Manufacturing Investment Scheme

Lloyds Bank Foundation Launches New £3m Racial Equity Fund

Unrestricted funding for small charities and CICs led by and working with people who face inequity because of their race or ethnicity.

Lloyd Bank Foundation for England and Wales have launched a new £3 million funding programme with a focus on supporting people experiencing racial inequity to break free from poverty and achieve their potential. It anticipates that 40 grants will be awarded across England (excluding London) and Wales.

The deadline for grant applications is 31 May 2023 (5pm).

Save Our Wild Isles Community Fund (with Crowdfunding) Launches

Funding for not-for-profit organisations who can raise their initial funding through a crowdfunding campaign for projects that protect and restore nature local communities across the UK.

The Save Our Wild Isles Community Fund, funded by Aviva and in partnership with the RSPB and WWF, is a £1 million fund to make it easier for communities across the UK to take action for nature in their local area.

There are no deadlines. Applications can be made until all the funding is allocated.

£2m Sky Zero Footprint Fund Opens for 2023

Established by Sky as part of its campaign to be net zero carbon by 2030, the Sky Zero Footprint Fund will support brands that are committed to driving positive behavioural change and tangible impact towards a more sustainable future.

Defra Announces £1m for Recreational Sea Fishing Sector

Innovate UK Launches Feasibility Studies Competition for Artificial Intelligence Solutions

Tesco Announces £5m in Funding for Schools Across the UK

Support for Youth-Focused Climate Events Across the UK for Great Big Green Week 2023

Save the Children is offering grants of between £300 and £800 for not-for-profit organisations across the UK to support activities and events taking place as part of the Great Big Green Week 2023 (10 to 18 June) that engage young people and children to raise awareness of the impacts of the climate crisis and its effects on children and young people.

IUK Announces UK-Switzerland Bilateral Collaborative R&D Competition

Third Round of England’s Peatland Restoration Grants Now Open

Environmental groups, charities, public bodies, and landowners in England can submit bids for grants to develop sites where peat can be restored.

Environmental groups, local authorities, charities, public bodies, individual landowners, and organisations in England may apply. Natural England is looking for landscape-scale applications that work to restore the whole hydrological unit of a peatland. This is likely to involve a number of sites and landowners, so applications from partnerships are encouraged.

The deadline to submit applications for Round 3 of the Restoration Grant is 26 May 2023.

Heritage Fund Extends Deadline to its Dynamic Collections Campaign

Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust Releases Funding Schedule for 2023/24

New Round of Museum Estate and Development Fund Open to Applications

Dates Announced for Healthy Hearts Grants 2023

Funding is for new projects that work with communities to prevent heart disease, particularly for vulnerable and isolated groups of individuals who are at an increased risk of developing heart problems in the future.

New Fund to Support Vulnerable Children and Young People Outside the Home

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is an independent charitable trust run by Impetus, in partnership with the Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) and Social Investment Business (SIB). It aims to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.

Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 16 May 2023 (5pm).

Large Grants for Structural Repairs of Churches and Chapels
