Funding is available to arts professionals and arts companies in England and Denmark to support the development of new, environmentally responsible approaches to international touring and collaboration.
Arts Council England and the Danish Arts Foundation have partnered to offer support to performing arts professionals in England and Denmark through the International Touring and Environmental Responsibility Fund. The programme aims to encourage the development of environmentally responsible approaches to international touring and collaboration between artists and companies in both countries.
A total of 20 artists and companies, 10 from each country, will participate in a three-month online programme focusing on reducing the carbon and environmental impacts of touring. Participants will have the opportunity to apply for funding to support concepts that arise from the programme, with up to four projects being awarded funding of up to £20,000. The goal of this initiative is to address the challenges of touring and its impact on the environment, while also promoting creativity and cultural exchange.
English arts professionals and arts companies are eligible to apply for support for collaboration with Danish counterparts.
The deadline for applications is 20 January 2023 (12:00 GMT).
