Deadline Approaches for Women in Engineering Grant Initiative

Manufacturing specialists Get It Made are encouraging female led organisations within the UK engineering sector to apply for a grant that can help take their work to the next level.

A grant of £10,000 is available to a selected female led enterprise operating in the UK engineering sector to help the business scale up production and progress to the next level of development.

Applications are being accepted for the 2022 Women in Engineering Grant provided by London based manufacturing services company, Get It Made. To be eligible for the grant the business must:

  • Be a female founded or led engineering organisation.
  • Employ fewer than 10 people.
  • Have an element of being a hardware based business.
  • Have a clear goal or mission for the product or company.

Through the initiative Get It Made will provide one grant of £10,000 (excluding VAT) to the selected enterprise that can be used when ordering any of Get It Made's manufacturing services.

In addition, the grant recipient will have direct access to Get It Made engineers who will help support their project from a Design for Manufacturing perspective.

The deadline for applications is 31 July 2022 (23:59 BST).
