Funding still available for projects which tackle violence against women in the UK.
Not-for-profit organisations in the UK still have time to apply for Rosa’s brand-new fund thanks to a two-week deadline extension.
To be eligible, groups must be classed as women and/or girls’ organisations. This means they must be governed and led by women, with the main object of working with women and girls. The focus is on groups which are helping victims of male violence to recover and rebuild their lives, and improving the safety of women across the country.
Priority will be given to organisations which are:
- Led by and for Black and minoritised women and girls.
- Led by and for disabled women.
- Led by and for LGBTQ+ women and girls.
- Operating in the top 20% most disadvantaged areas in the UK.
- Based in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
One-year grants of up to £25,000 are available, from October 2022 to September 2023.
Funding can be used for organisational development work that will allow organisations to survive, thrive and grow. It is intended to support extra capacity, rather than existing costs.
The new deadline to apply is 4pm on 24 June 2022.
How To Apply
The deadline to apply has been extended from 9 June to 24 June 2022 (4pm).
Notification of decisions expected by 23 September 2022.
Guidance and an online application form can be found on the Rosa website.
