Innovate UK Announces Inclusive Innovation Awards 2022/23

Business, Enterprise and Regeneration

The aim of this competition is to fund and support a diverse portfolio of UK businesses that have a track-record in developing inclusive innovations.

Through the Inclusive Innovation Awards, Innovate UK is celebrating and showcasing businesses that are developing innovations centred on equality, diversity and inclusion in their design and development.

Innovate UK is investing up to £2.5 million per year for the next three years. At least 50 awards will be offered to support diversity in business. The winners will receive a £50,000 grant each for scale-up of existing, or development of new, work.

To be eligible, an organisation must be a UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise, resident in the UK and carrying out project work in the UK. Applications can come from any area of innovation, and be applied to any part of the economy.

Innovate UK is looking for companies that:

  • Have a ‘great idea’ to further develop a previous innovation, or start something new.

The Awards are open for applications from 26 September 2022 until 9 November 2022.
