ITV Launches Fund to Support Travel Firms Returning to Growth

Business, Enterprise and Regeneration

03 October 2022/Categories: Grants_and_Funding

Financial support is being provided to holiday firms in the UK to boost their growth following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working with Travel Weekly, ITV has launched a new fund to support the travel industry’s return to growth. The Backing Business Fund is designed to give new and lapsed TV brands across the travel sector the opportunity to benefit from TV advertising to grow their business.

The programme has a total value of £500,000. Levels of support for individual applications have not been stipulated, however, it is based on like-for-like value, whereby for every pound a brand invests, ITV will match it.

Creative production support is also being offered to help businesses make a television advertisement; at cost. Companies will be able to experience the effectiveness of ITV for their business at a significantly lower cost of entry, enabling them to measure the impact and scale-up as a result.

UK based travel businesses of all sizes that are looking to grow may be eligible for support. ITV has already worked with travel brands including Hurtigruten, Hays Travel and Jet2.com, driving growth in the sector.

This finite fund will operate until the end of June 2023, unless the complete fund value has been used at an earlier date due to demand.

How To Apply

This finite fund will run from September 2022 until the end of June 2023, unless the complete fund value has been used at an earlier date due to demand. Brands will be considered on a first come, first served basis until all funds are exhausted.

Applications are made online.
