IUK Opens Innovation in Professional and Financial Services Competitions

UK registered businesses can apply for funding for projects that develop new products and services within Professional and Financial Services.

The aim of this Innovate UK (IUK) programme is to advance the Professional and Financial Services sectors by supporting them in the creation and adoption of digital approaches and new digitally supported services.

This competition is split into two strands:

  • Innovation in Professional and Financial Services – single applicants
  • Innovation in Professional and Financial Services – collaboration

Up to £7 million has been allocated to fund innovation projects across the two strands.

  • Single applicants: Each project’s total grant funding request must be between £50,000 and £200,000.
  • Collaboration: Each project’s total grant funding request must be between £50,000 and £500,000.

Collaborative projects must be led by UK registered businesses of any size. They must collaborate with other eligible UK registered organisations. If they are a large organisation, they must include at least one grant claiming micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME). To collaborate with the lead, organisations must be a UK registered business of any size, academic institution, charity, not for profit, public sector organisation, research and technology organisation (RTO).

Single applications must be made by a UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 9 November 2022.
