Funding to respond to the impacts of climate change and support forcibly displaced people.
UK Registered charities and other non-profit organisations with strong community links can now apply for grants to support climate work taking place outside the UK.
Multi-year funding of up to £60,000 is available, to be used within 36 months.
To be eligible, all proposals must meet all of the following criteria:
- Focus on forcibly displaced people and their host communities.
- Deliver tangible improvements to quality of life.
- Have a positive impact on the natural environment (protection or restoration).
Preference will be given to projects that foster, or already demonstrate, a positive engagement between displaced people and their host communities.
Groups must have an annual income of less than £10 million.
The deadline to apply is 9am on 25 July 2022.
