We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and pay tribute to Her Majesty’s lifelong devotion to service and duty.

As the UK enters a period of mourning, we recognise that there will be national days for mourning and reflection which we expect to observe.

During this time, many will be taking part in civic events, tributes and memorials. This may affect funding organisations and their grant making plans and schedules.

As a mark of respect, statutory bodies are suspending parts of their communications and engagement activity until after the mourning period. Some public bodies with a Royal Charter, such as Arts Council England, have announced they will review their funding application-related deadlines.
