Arts Council England - Let’s Create Jubilee Fund Opens for Applications

Arts, Culture and Heritage Funding

11 January 2022/Categories: Grants_and_Funding

Groups can now apply for funding to deliver creative and cultural activities as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

With funds from the National Lottery, Arts Council England (ACE) is providing grants to voluntary and community organisations for projects which celebrate the Platinum Jubilee whilst also engaging local communities across England.

There is a total funding pot of £5 million, from which grants of between £750 and £10,000 are available. The Fund is being administered by UK Community Foundations.

Projects must engage with at least one of the artforms which ACE supports through its funding:

  • Music.
  • Theatre.
  • Dance.
  • Visual arts.
  • Literature.
  • Combined arts - including festivals and carnivals.
  • Museum and library activities.

Applicants are encouraged to partner with an artist, creative or cultural organisation that has been in receipt of ACE funding within the last four years to help to deliver the project. This is not essential, but it is expected that the largest awards grants (£5,000 to £10,000) will involve this type of partnership.

Projects can begin from 1 April 2022 so that preparation such as rehearsals may take place. Public-facing activity should take place in June near the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend.

Groups should refer to their local Community Foundation for details of the closing date in their area.
