Funding for projects which benefit local communities across Great Britain.
Established in 1975 by Ford Motor Company Ltd., Ford Britain Trust exists to support grassroots projects in areas such as:
- Local community and environment.
- Children and young people.
- Mainstream schools and education.
- Special needs education and people with disabilities.
The Trust is currently accepting applications to its Large Grants programme, which offers grants of £251 to £3,000 to registered charities, schools and Parent Teacher Associations and not-for-profit organisations.
Applications will be considered for projects being undertaken/expenditure being made in all UK postcodes; however, locations near Ford Motor Company Limited / FCE Bank plc UK operations are given a higher weighting:
- Essex (including East London)
- Bridgend (South Wales)
- Southampton
- Daventry
- Manchester
- Liverpool
Grants can cover contributions to capital projects, items of capital expenditure and the purchase of new Ford vehicles.
The deadline to apply is 31 July 2022.
How To Apply
The current application windows are:
- Small grants applications have now closesd.
- Large grants applications - 1 March 2022 to 31 July 2022.
Application forms should be downloaded from the Trust's website and returned by email.
Supporting documentation such as budget submissions, project outlines, quotations for equipment should be submitted with the application, if appropriate.
Copies of the organisation's most recent Report and Accounts should be submitted with all large grant applications.
