UK registered businesses can apply for grants to fund innovative solutions to industrial problems using Quantum Computing.
Through this competition, Innovate UK (IUK) is funding innovative solutions to industrial problems using quantum computing (QC). The aim is to bring together end-users from many industry sectors, with experts in QC. They will identify and develop use cases in the UK that demonstrate the potential and commercial benefits of this technology.
The industry sectors are, but not limited to, manufacturing, transport, and financial services.
Up to £8 million has been allocated to fund feasibility projects in this competition. Each project’s total costs must not exceed £500,000.
This competition is open to collaborations only. To lead a project, an organisation must be a UK registered business of any size.
To collaborate with the lead, an organisation must be a UK registered business of any size, academic institution, charity, not for profit, public sector organisation, or research and technology organisation (RTO).
