New National Influencing Grants from Lloyd’s Bank Foundation

Health & Social Welfare

22 March 2023/Categories: Grants_and_Funding

Funding to tackle structural and systemic challenges at the national level.

Lloyd’s Bank Foundation has launched a £1.8 million funding programme aimed at influencing change at the national level around specific issues related to:

  • The social security system
  • Accommodation for people with complex issues
  • Improving support for asylum seekers

The fund offers grants of £30,000 to £150,000 for up to three years to registered charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an annual turnover of at least £25,000 based in either England or Wales

The Foundation's priority is supporting small and local organisations, and proposals led by or actively developed with user groups and/or those with direct lived experience of the relevant issues.

Grants will support a range of influencing activities such as research, policy development, analysis and activity to engage public bodies, politicians and policy makers, as well as the media and public.

Funding can cover costs related to the proposed influencing work including staff costs, activity costs and overheads as long as they are directly related to the project.

The deadline to apply is 5pm on 19 May 2023.

How To Apply

The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 5pm on 19 May 2023.

Potential applicants are encouraged to arrange a phonecall with the funders to discuss their suitability before expressing interest.

Applicants should ensure they submit the following completed documents:

  2. Applicant Information form
  3. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion form

For shortlisted groups, final applications will be required by 1 September 2023.

Full guidance and an Expression of Interest form can be found on the Lloyd's Bank Foundation website.
