The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund and Active Together (Sport England’s crowdfunding initiative) will be paused from 25 August until late September 2022.

Sport England has announced that it will be making some improvements to its funding application system which will make it easier for groups to submit an application and for Sport England to make decisions in a quicker and more efficient manner.

During this upgrade, which will take place from 25 August until late September, applications will not be accepted

This currently affects two funding schemes:

• Sport England - Queen's Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund
• Sport England (with Crowdfunding) – Return to Play: Active Together

Groups that are currently making an application must submit it before 25 August 2022 otherwise they will need to reregister and start their application again once the new system is live in late September.

The temporary deadline to submit applications is 24 August 2022 with the expectation that applications can be submitted again from the end of September 2022.

How To Apply

14 July 2022 update:

• Sport England’s online application portal will be closed from 5pm on 24 August 2022 until late September 2022. During this time Sport England will be upgrading its funding application system to make it easier to submit an application and receive a quicker response.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Decisions usually take around three weeks, but may take longer during periods of high interest.
