The Carlisle District Local Plan 2015-2030 was adopted at Full Council on 8 November 2016 in accordance with Regulation 26(b) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012. The adoption statement and notification letter are available online here.
The Local Plan is available to view on the Local Plan webpage, alongside the accompanying the Sustainability Appraisal Post Adoption Statement. An electronic and interactive version of the associated Policies Map is now available online. Details of how to purchase a hardcopy of the Plan and Maps, and the timescales for their production, will be added to the website shortly.
A copy of the above documents and adoption statement is in the process of being made available for inspection at Carlisle Civic Centre and Carlisle, Brampton, and Longtown libraries, during their normal opening hours.
