PAUSED: Sport England Community Emergency Fund Closes on 14 May

| Return|

Sport England’s £20 million Community Emergency Fund was originally scheduled to close to applications at the end of July 2020. However, the funder has announced that it will stop accepting new applications on 14 May at 23:59.

Grants of between £300 and £10,000 are available to help community sport and physical activity organisations meet their obligations, in particular fixed costs, which are no longer supported with revenue as a result of coronavirus/COVID-19.

Applications will be considered from any organisation delivering community sport and physical activity if it is experiencing short term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the impact of coronavirus.

Priority will be given to organisations that work with under-represented groups.

It is expected that applicants will have exhausted all other Government funding sources before applying to this fund.

The fund will be paused to new applications at 11.59pm on Thursday 14 May 2020.
