Open 4 Business Portal

To support our businesses during the current COVID-19 crisis, and into the recovery phase, Carlisle City Council is providing free access to Open 4 Business. Open4Business is designed to support businesses locate relevant up to date funding opportunities.

The portal is updated regularly with new local, regional and national funding announcements and can be easily searched by businesses on the basis of their industry, region and business size. The portal then provides information on how to apply for funding and contact funders directly. To search for grants for your business you will first need to register on the Open4Business website

Funding news from National Lottery Community Fund

We have an exciting update.

As well as our own National Lottery funding we’re delighted that we are distributing funding on behalf of the Government to support communities through COVID-19.

Applications for the government’s £200mil Coronavirus Community Support Fund will open to at 10am on Friday 22nd May 2020. This funding is to support the community through Covid-19.

All applications must be submitted through the online portal, this is to ensure applicants receive the funding criteria and necessary application information in the first instance. Please note that high volumes of applications are expected. All applications will be responded to as soon as possible.  

The online portal can be accessed, from 10am on Friday 22nd May, through The National Lottery Community Fund’s website: https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/  

Applications will open Friday 22 May, at 10am.
