Coronavirus Community Support Fund (CCSF) - fund due to close soon.

| Return|

The Coronavirus Community Support Fund (CCSF) is a joint response to distribute both government and National Lottery funding to award emergency funding to organisations in England – launched 22nd May 2020.

This fund is to support projects and organisations helping communities through COVID-19. Charities and community organisations are facing unprecedented challenges and it’s important we can respond quickly and support as much as possible over the months ahead. There will be high demand for this funding, and we will have to make some tough choices. We expect the fund to be heavily oversubscribed and anticipate only being able to support a proportion of applications.

Organisations can apply for between £300 - £10,000 and over £10,000 to cover up to six months of costs. We are asking people to only apply for what they need and expect most grants to be under £100,000. Only one application can be accepted per organisation.

Through the Coronavirus Community Support Fund we can fund:

  • Activities supporting people and communities affected by COVID-19

  • Organisations to overcome any acute financial difficulties they're facing because of the pandemic

The two priorities activities must fall into are:

  • Organisations providing services and support for vulnerable people, for which there will be increased demand as a result of the COVID-19 crisis

  • Organisations which connect communities and support communities to work together to respond to Covid-19

Application should be submitted through the National Lottery Community Fund website. This can be found, along with more information, here:
