Youth Music Programme

| Return|

Grants are available to a range of organisations for music projects in England that increase the number of children and young people across England who have the opportunity to take part in high-quality musical activities, particularly those who are experiencing challenging cirumstances and who face barriers to music making.

Objectives of Fund

Youth Music’s vision is that 'life-changing' music-making is available to all children and young people. It offers funding to charitable and non-profit organisations in the UK with the aim of supporting projects that focus on:

  • Music-making for children and young people facing barriers.

  • Strategic work supporting the development of the workforce, organisations, and/or the wider sector.

The Foundation currently offers two levels of funding:

  • Fund A - smaller grants for high-quality projects that will help to achieve the Foundation's vision for a musically inclusive England.

  • Fund B - medium-sized grants for high-quality, sustained projects that expand and embed musically inclusive practice within and beyond the applicant's organisation.
