The John Gilpin Trust offers a small number of grants each year to voluntary and community organisations in Cumbria, Merseyside or Suffolk.
Objectives of Fund
The funding is intended to support national charities and local organisations undertaking charitable projects.
The Trust has approximately 28,000 per year which it distributes as charitable donations. Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. Most grants tend to be for £1,000. Exceptional grants of more than £1,000 may be given from time to time.
Who Can Apply
Small charities with strong local connections in Merseyside, Cumbria, or Suffolk may apply.
The funding is to be used for project costs.
