How To Apply

The programme opens and closes in different areas at different times. To find out if the programme is open in their area, groups should use the online interactive map on the Active Communities page on the People's Health Trust website.

Applicants will be able to access both the guidelines and an online form on the People's Health Trust website.

There is a two-stage application process.

  • The first step is to submit the Stage 1 application form by the advertised closing date for the applicant’s area and this can be done by checking the map on the People's Health Trust website.

  • The Trust will then advise groups within 10-20 working days after the advertised closing date for their area, whether or not they are being invited to submit a full Stage 2 application. Groups will have at least three weeks to complete the Stage 2 application form. The Trust will let groups know if they have been successful at Stage 2 within 12-14 weeks after the closing date for Stage 2 applications for their area. This will depend on the number of applications received by the Trust.
