Open 4 Business Portal

British Muslim Covid-19 Fund

Grants are available for charities, organisations and voluntary groups in the UK impacted by the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

This emergency fund is a joint project between Rahma Mercy, Drop of Compassion, and Peace & Relief International. Peace & Relief international will act as the umbrella organisation.

Objectives of Fund

The aim of the fund is to support charities, voluntary groups and other organisations who are working to protect and assist vulnerable people during the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

Value Notes

Grants of £250 to £5,000 are available.

The Fund is split into two programmes:

  • Small grants of £250 to £1,000

  • Major grants of £1,000 to £5,000

Who Can Apply

Charities, and voluntary groups and organisations in the UK are welcome to apply, irrespective of faith.

Small grants (up to £1,000) are intended for community groups, grassroots organisations, food banks and other volunteer groups.




The following are not eligible for funding:

  • Overseas applications.

  • Non COVID-19 related activities.

Eligible Expenditure

Grants are intended for groups who are affected by the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis and are working towards ameliorating its impact for vulnerable people in the UK.

How To Apply

The Fund will remain open until the funds are depleted.

Applicants should note that the Fund may receive more applications than it has funds to support. Even if a project fits within the criteria and priorities of the Fund and a detailed assessment has been made, the Fund may still be unable to provide a grant.

Applications should be made via the online application form, which can be found on the British Muslim Covid-19 Fund website.
