CITY & GUILDS Bursary Programme 2019 - helps people who require financial assistance to be able to complete a City & Guilds or ILM qualification

Comic Relief and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation have joined forced again to provide a total of £2.4 million in funding over the next three years (2019-2021). Grants of up to £48,000 are available for nine months. It is expected that 13 projects will be funded in the first round. In addition to the funding, grant recipients will receive expert support and advice as well as the chance to collaborate and share learning.

The third and final funding round is now open to applications. FE colleges and sixth-form colleges in England are eligible for funding. The deadline for stage one applications is 29 March 2019. Stage two applications must be submitted by 26 April 2019.

The Smallwood Trust have received funds from the Tampon Tax Fund to provide grants to projects which enable women on low incomes to access new skills, training, confidence building and employment opportunities. Tampon Tax funding is matched with Smallwood Trust funding.
