Power to Change – Community Business Renewal Fund - next round opens 3 November 2020

22 October 2020/Categories: Grants_and_Funding

Unrestricted grants to help with core costs are available for locally based and community-led businesses in England that have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis in order to respond, evolve and adapt to the challenges they are facing.

Unrestricted grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 are available.

The grant must be spent within 12 months and grant recipients must be able to show what they spent the money on.

In addition to the grant funding, the programme will offer:

  • Two match-funding programmes to support community businesses with different types of fundraising.

  • Capacity strengthening support to help community businesses increase knowledge, resilience and equip themselves to ‘re-boot’ successfully.

  • Tailored support to help community businesses protect community assets.

  • A programme of work highlighting the role community business can play in the economic recovery.
