Launch of £1.5m Artificial Intelligence for Decarbonisation Innovation Programme

The Government has launched a new innovation programme which will support the use of artificial intelligence to reduce the UK’s carbon emissions.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Decarbonisation Programme will support the development of innovative artificial intelligence technologies for decarbonisation applications to support the transition to net zero.

The application deadline for the initial two streams is 19 January 2023 (14:00 GMT).

Resource Efficiency for Materials and Manufacturing - New IUK Competition Launched

The aim of this Innovate UK (IUK) competition is to support UK materials and manufacturing organisations to become more resource efficient. Simultaneous demonstrations of how materials and manufacturing will become more resilient or technologically advanced are encouraged.

Canada UK Commercialising Quantum Technology Programme - New IUK Competition Announced

The aim of this Innovate UK (IUK) competition is to strengthen collaborative research and development (CR&D) through Canadian and UK partnerships towards commercialising quantum technologies.

NPC Launches Funds for Charities Tackling Financial Hardship in the UK

Launch of £20m Green Home Finance Accelerator

Following the success of the Business Growth Grant pilot scheme, we have approved a new round of grant funding to support Small-and Medium Enterprises (SME) looking to occupy vacant properties within the City Centre.

This grant fund will provide up to £2,500 (£5,000 for particularly strong cases) for businesses occupying vacant space in Carlisle City Centre. The award of the grant is subject to an appraisal process.

eBay UK Launches Circular Fashion Innovators Fund

Government Launches LRF Innovation Fund to Support Data and Digital Technology

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) is inviting the 38 Local Resilience Forums (LRFs) based in England to submit an expression to the new LRF Innovation Fund.

Round 6 of Local Digital Fund Opens to Bids from England’s Councils
