Kellogg’s School Breakfast Club Fund Reopens for 2023

Kellogg’s, in partnership with Forever Manchester, is offering grants of up to £1,000 to schools to help fund breakfast clubs across the UK and ensure that children who need it most receive a morning meal.

Michael Tippett Musical Foundation Reopens for 2023

For 2023 the Trustees have decided to focus the Foundation’s activity exclusively on the funding of performances and recording of music by Michael Tippett, to generate greater revenue for a wider range of activities in future years

QuantERA ERA-NET Cofund in Quantum Technologies Launches 2023 Call

The transnational call is providing approximately €33 million for projects focusing on applied quantum science and quantum phenomena and resources.

QuantERA II is a European Research Area network focused on quantum technologies (QT). It supports multilateral research projects with the potential to initiate or foster new lines of QT through collaborations exploring advanced multidisciplinary science and/or cutting-edge engineering.

Applications should be submitted by the 11 May 2023 (17:00 CET) deadline.

Co-op Foundation’s Carbon Innovation Fund – New Focus for Round 2

Funding for community, private and public sector organisations across the UK for initiatives which will help to reduce the UK’s reliance on soy-based animal and fish feed and synthetic fertilisers.

The Co-op Foundation has published the guidance notes for the second round of its £3.5 million Carbon Innovation Fund.

Round Two will open for applications on 1 February 2023 (after the event concludes at midday) and close on 28 February 2023 (midday).

Government Plans to Expedite Rollout of Sustainable Farming Incentive

Netflix Opens Documentary Talent Fund for 2023

New IUK Competition for UK-Germany Bilateral Collaborative R&D

UK registered organisations, collaborating with at least one German SME, can apply for grants for collaborative research projects resulting in innovative solutions.

The aim of this Innovate UK (IUK) competition is to support UK and German business-led collaboration in innovation. IUK will support UK businesses to collaborate successfully with German counterparts and build global growth prospects. Proposals must contribute to the development of commercial products, processes or technical services.

The competition opens on Tuesday 7 February 2023. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 7 June 2023 (11:00 BST).

Ofwat Launches £4m Water Discovery Challenge

2023 Dates for Veterans’ Foundation Applications

Funding to help provide lifetime support to those in need among serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans, and their immediate families.

Not-for profit organisations which support the Armed Forces community in Great Britain (veterans, those serving and immediate dependants) can now apply for the next round of grants from the Veterans’ Foundation.

Dyers’ Company Launches Seed Capital Investment Fund

Sea-Changer’s Coastal Fountain Fund Reopens for 2023

Not-for-profit organisations across the United Kingdom can apply for funding to cover the purchase of a water foundation to help reduce pollution and the use of non-reusable plastics in coastal communities.

Sea Changers is offering grants of up to £2500 for community groups and other not-for-profit organisations to help prevent negative impacts on UK coastal and marine environments and species by reducing marine litter through the provision of well-located coastal water fountains that will significantly reduce the use of non-reusable plastic drinks bottles.

Grants to Mark the 75th Anniversary of Windrush

Google Global Goals Call for Applications for AI-based Solutions to Societal Challenges

Advancing Precision Medicine - New IUK Competition Now Open

UK businesses and research organisations can apply for grants to carry out projects focused on developing digital and data-enabled tools, as well as multi-modal approaches in precision medicine.

The competition is open to collaborations only. To lead a project, an organisation must be a UK registered business of any size or research and technology organisation (RTO). To collaborate with the lead, an organisation must be a business, academic institution, charity, not-for-profit, public sector organisation, or RTO. Applicants must be or involve at least one micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).

DWP Launches Second Phase of Funding to Reduce Parental Conflict

International Programme Invites Applications for Sustainable Fashion and Textiles R&D Projects

Continuo Foundation Accepting Applications to Support Period Music Ensembles Across the UK

The programme is particularly keen to help ambitious groups, from all types of neighbourhoods, who want to really influence how their place grows and changes going into the future.

Cumbria Mental Health Emergency Welfare Fund

To provide one-off financial support (micro grants) to individuals with a known mental health diagnosis experiencing financial hardship. Grants should help them to engage with/attend appointments and community provisions that help improve the mental health and wellbeing OR relieve financial stress.

Referring organisations will be asked to provide quotes and feedback on the impact of the funding for the individual benefitting. Referrers should only refer individuals in who are well known to the referrer and who the referrer feels confident will spend the funds for the intended purpose.

£5m Fund Launched for Wet Agriculture and Forestry on England’s Peatlands

Grants are available for organisations across all sectors to help unlock barriers to the development of commercially viable paludiculture in England.

Through the Paludiculture Exploration Fund (PEF), grants are available to help unlock barriers to the development of commercially viable paludiculture. Paludiculture is wet agriculture and forestry on peatlands, combining the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from drained peatlands through rewetting with continued land use and biomass production under wet conditions.

Additional Funding for England’s Farmers Benefiting the Environment

Launch of £75m Fund to Accelerate Nuclear Fuel Supply

New £3m Platinum Jubilee Village Halls Fund Accepting Applications With First Deadline of 20 January

Capital grants are available for village halls in rural areas across England to enhance, upgrade, extend, improve, and construct halls so that, as a result, new activities can take place bringing communities together.

Launched just before Christmas, the new £3 million Platinum Jubilee Village Halls Fund is provided by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) and administered by the charity Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE).

The deadline for the first round of Stage 1 applications is midnight 20 January 2023.

Sport England Reopens Small Grants Programme
